Ferniehill Evangelical Church has been established on the south side of Edinburgh for just over 34 years. The membership is about 70, plus many other contacts. Along with other Evangelical Churches, we hold to similar traditional beliefs.The church leadership comprises elders and deacons, who recognise Jesus Christ as its rightful head.We practice believers baptism - total immersion on personal confession of faith in Christ (other views are treated with respect). We meet for worship and communion each Sunday, in an open, yet slightly structured manner. We aim to reach out with the Gospel in the surrounding area. Actvities cover the age spectrum from mother and toddler groups right through to senior citizens. Members are encouraged to develop their gifts as well as to receive pastoral support. The fellowship is known for welcoming visitors wholeheartedly.
