St Columba's Church is an evangelical congregation located in the suburbs on the northern edge of the city of Aberdeen, within easy walking distance of university halls of residence. We are a congregation that exists to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Our church goal is to make disciples and to build the church wherever Christ leads and serve our community. To do this, our main emphasis is on book-by-book, verse-by-verse, week-by-week bible teaching and preaching, as well as on lively worship and praise. Prayer is highly valued within our church family. We offer a wide range of ways to serve the needs of others and to communicate the Gospel in relevant ways. We welcome guests warmly to our church, and our congregation is made up of people of all ages and from many parts of the UK and abroad. We have a strong emphasis on ministry to families, children and young people. Having said that, our ministry to the elderly is one of our greatest delights. St Columba's is a congregation in which you can become a more mature and effective disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in which there are many opportunities for you to get involved rather than be a spectator.
